Holiday craft

I came across this link Holiday craft with clever ideas to keep the little finger busy. 

I made a fabric basket out of old jean for my little star.  I trimmed the legs from the jean just below crotch and sew the bottom with adding rectangle fabric base for extra space.

All pockets are functional providing storage for pencil, sketch pen, crayon, painting brush...

Your imagination is unlimited, i decorated the bag with buttonhole or blanket stitches

Pencil Drawing

Aah!  this is being pending for long to post.  Did you know drawing can be fun and its nice hobby.  My mother, sisters all loved to draw.  My mom used to paint on our dress, she is awesome artist. And my hubby, he is amazing artist too, he didn't go for classes. But every piece he makes is unique.  He gave me his first masterpiece when we were dating.

How romantic to receive a beautiful pencil work like this.   Although its just black and white i always wonder how amazing and expressive they are. 

He made this pencil drawing recently, very unique capturing the expression of eyes, eyebrow and lip lines.

My little star Aryan is actually holding the pencil accurately.  This summer activity includes pencil drawing for arya.  Kids love drawing.

M seal artwork

OMG! I haven’t blogged for a while, I’m happy to be back to the place I love, I dream, I make things I like, I meet my cheerful friends. My life is an emotional roller coaster with my little boy skin problem and husband being away from the country. Oh I don’t want to sound like this neither I do want to edit anything. When Im tired and stressed I don’t want to speak anything. When I write my blog I want to be like sanguine child, very bubbly. Yeah like a spring season filled with yellow sunshine and bright color flowers everywhere, life in everything.  I can't say how much Im ecstatic with the heavy support and love from my friends. I dont know from where I read this beautiful line but I remember it very well

"Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget"

I have more to say but I'll save this for another day. Ok, let me share what I received from my sister.  I bought a plain and cheap tea cup a while ago. My sister made a beautiful Mseal craft on it. 

• She mixed the white and black part of M-seal. 
• When it turn grey roll and make the shape. 
• Let it dry for a day and then use fabric to paint it.

I Love August

It’s August! One of my favourite months – filled with memories and pleasant weather. Monsoon season are cooler with showers, clearing the air and coincide with celebration (our wedding anniversary and Onam).

I know I’m running behind schedule and takes me little longer to complete things these days.
- My sewing machine broke, It's frustrating to be working on a sewing project and suddenly forced to a thumping halt. After 2 days of struggle today I fixed it..
- My little fellow having hard time with his stuffy nose.

New month with beautiful weather will make up these things.
• Aryan says more words
• Planning to do more sewing (I have finished few project, photos are pending to post).
• Festival and celebration season.
• Amazed with my sister's painting.

My younger sister has lot of potential.  I love all her work, they are just astonishing beauty.
