This month is the fifth anniversary of Daffysdream.blogspot.in.   It has been a long journey….

My hobby became my career:

When I first started blogging back in 2010 I never knew that this blog will aid me to discover my dream & passion. I remember myself running behind the hectic banking job since 2000 when I started my career.  After my beautiful son came into this world I resigned from my hectic job. I wanted to spend more time with him.  I began to sew things for him, for my family and friends and post about it.  I never realised creativity was deep-rooted in me until I began this blog.  My blogging journey brought me some of the most amazing opportunities to follow my dreams and build my own business and live life on my terms.  My hobby became my career and my livelihood.  And I decided to embark on this journey.  

My real job:

I made handbag and published it.   People loved my work and I started spending hours pursuing my goal in business and less time on blogging.  It became difficult to juggle between blog, social media and online marketplace. I struggle to manage time sometimes even now.  This has taken me a step back from blogging over the past few months.  But through my journey I grew my business more than I ever imagined.  I made lot of friends personally and professionally.  I love my customers as though they are my family and friends.  This creative entrepreneurial journey cannot be without them.

1st Blogiversary

Wow! my blog is One year old...

I can't believe where a year has gone...when I started blogging I never had an idea or even thought people could read whatever i scribble. Everyday when I login, my dashboard indicates I have comments.  It was an amazing feeling to know people actually read what i blog.  I had learnt a lot in the process(still willing to learning more) and met some awesome people - creative and inspiring. 

I am thankful to all my commenters and followers who have always encouraged me with their valuable comments, feedback, acknowledgement and contribution.  Today I'm a happy person
