Sri Krishna Janmashtami and our weekend

Happy Sunday & Happy Janmashtami!  Janmashtami marks the celebration of Lord Sri Krishna's birth. And we celebrated janmashtami at our mom's place. Mom made yummy kesari for us. We had a fun loving game,fancy dress and dance.

Happy Pongal!

Pongal is one of my very favorite holiday season... Pongal is the biggest harvest festival and celebrated for four days. Rice pudding made of rice and jaggery is so special, prepared and offered to Surya deva. A thanks giving day for Sun god.

Hello and Happy December!

It was kind of sad to say goodbye to November because I had the best selling month in all variety products. Got lots all sewing done last month; many projects and finished some challenging custom orders.  I have listed here few of them; more photos are yet to be updated.

 Christmas is exciting and joy. I'm planning for more design, color and variety into my shop. I'm looking forward to offer new style.

Janmastami

Yesterday was Janmastami; celebrated to welcome and enjoy Lord Krishna's birth.  Children were asked to dress up as Krishna and Radha to school.  Here is my little boy aryan as krishna and his cousin sister aashu as radha. 

For people who are not aware of Janmashtami : it is the joyful celebration of Lord Krishna's birth. Major celebrations of Krishna Janmashtami takes place at midnight as Krishna is said to have made his divine appearance in that hour. Fasting, bhajans, pujas and many other rituals mark Janmashtami celebrations in India.

Since I moved into new house, my craft things are unpacked and my room is uninspiring. I wanted to limit myself with the fancy decoration because of dust and clean process.
