Thank you so much for the lovely comments, I really appreciate all the support, you inspire me to do more.
Weekend special...
Its been long since I did any recycling project. I totally love them to do, allows me to think out of the box. There are so many inspiring blogs to collate your ideas. This is really quick and very simple project.
Material required
Any plastic bottle
Some ribbon to decorate
Hot glue
Cutter
Cut the bottle into half, use the glue and stick the ribbon around the raw edge of the bottle. You are done. Isn't it quick?
Finally I found my button and buckle organiser.
Have a great weekend!

That is so great! Because I have seen many people use the bottoms as storage, but I have never seen anyone use the upside down tops! You are brilliant, it is a great recycled idea. And cute!

Hey, thats so useful and thoughtful! Surely, out of the box is your way. Keep innovating :)
ReplyDeletethank all, this is simple to make and useful.
ReplyDeleteAlways looking for a way to store ribbon, I saw your craft idea and it hit me.... Use various bottle sizes (2 liter for full spools and smaller for loose ribbon) put entire spool (or lightly coiled loose ribbon) into the open cut end of bottle, pulling a small lead piece out of threaded end. Attach to a wall with 3m Command picture hangers (so no damage to wall). You can then pull down the amount needed without having runaway spools or crimped ribbon. I am thinking even 2-3 rolls can fit in the larger bottles.... just pull a small piece of each through the mouth of the bottle. I think your ideas are wonderful! Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow! Karen I love your idea...I'll surely going to try it...if possible, keep in touch through email can't find your ID online
