My name is Priya also knows Daffy. I am married to my best friend. He is such a wonderful husband, kind, loving, and patient beyond
words. In 2008, after my son, Aryan was born; I quit my hectic banking
job. I found myself a new sense of
inspiration and creative zeal fashions everything from colourful baby dolls to home
decorative things.
The
name “Daffysdream” is the name I created back in 2010 for my blog. It’s all about my meaningful dream and love
for handmade work. I started blogging initially
when my husband was away from the country. It was a way to update him, my friends
and family and just talk about anything and everything I made. I love designing
and creating things with my own hands. I've
always had a passion for arts and crafts. My interest & learning began
since my childhood. I grew up seeing my mother sewing; these have been self
taught skills.
My
blogging journey brought me some of the most amazing opportunities &
support to follow my dreams and build my own business and live life on my
terms. My hobby became my career and my livelihood. And I decided
to embark on this journey.
Today
I am the proud founder of ‘Daffysdream’: a creative outlet to share my designs. It brings
joy and happiness to create a new pattern based on customer's needs and allows
my customers to be the designer.
