Upcycled wallet

A customized wallet from upcycled Jean. I worked hard to design this unique wallet without the pattern for one of my customer. Im so excited to share my new wallet or great organizer. Very handy when you want to carry only your essentials.                            

This multi-compartment wallet designed to hold  picture ID,credit cards, bill, receipts, money, coins or key. The whole wallet is securely closes with a magnetic snap.

Everyone love a wallet , where you can carry everything including picture ID .  I fell in love with this gorgeous pattern and made more of them. There is a coin pocket secured with Velcro or zipper of your choice. 

Five credit card slots and each slot can hold two cards securely. 

There is also a pocket behind the credit card slot to keep important receipts or bill or really anything else you can think of.

And a large pocket to keep cash. 

                 

        Fabric choice is also available.

 

My lovely brother

Have I spoken about my big brother in this little corner of my world so called "blog".... 

Well let me just tell you a little bit about him.

He is a wonderful person at heart and very creative at mind. My big brother means a world to me; I know that he will always be there for me no matter what.

Here is his little family. 

He was blessed with a baby boy and yesterday was the naming ceremony.
My son calls his little brother as Mighty Raju...but his real name is Anjan Swaroop.

Yesterday when my son came to me, and said he will look after his little brother no matter what, he will feed him, put him to sleep, walk with him to school and take care of him.  I realised my son is no more little boy and how soon he has stepped into his big brother's shoe.

See what I found in my garden -  "Peanut plant" .   This little plant grow up from the vegetable waste i deposited in the soil.  Otherday I bought some peanut but it was tasting funny.. I thought it's was spoiled peanut and buried them in my garden.

It's a habit to collected all the vegetable/fruit wastes/egg shell before preparing the meal and bury them in garden.  This provides nutrients to growing plants and I save money on soil fertilizers.  Isn't it wonderful.

This is a different plant with little red flowers beautifuly arranged along the stem

Ethnic clutches

Four days of Pongal was fun and delicious food. I just couldn't stop myself from making more of ethnic clutches for this occasion.  These clutches are purely inspired from indian traditional silk design and colors represent the richness of Indian festival.

Pongal clutches

Pongal O Pongal!!!


Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated for four days in Tamilnadu. Its a very colorful festival with kites all over the sky, kolam in front of the house, people wear new clothes.

I made these clutches specially for Pongal festival. A very elegant and classic zipper purse, ideal for any occasion to carry money and few essentials.

A medium size clutch that may accompany you anytime with money, credit card, mobile, key &cosmetic. It is handy & roomy zipper purse with a mobile pocket inside.

I used silk fabric for exterior and fully lined inside in poplin coordinating color.

Hope you had wonderful weekend. It was very fast for me;one of those weekend mixed with lot of fun and work.  Friends were around for birthday party, received great gifts.   I finished few orders and ready to ship them.
